About
Dr. James Nagle studies contemporary movements of religion and spirituality, and their implications for wider culture. He has extensive experience in qualitative research, secondary and higher education, as well as editorial content and social media communications. James is skilled in assessing audiences and developing content using new forms of media to tell stories and create desired outcomes. And he is the kind of guy you want at your campfire.
James has published a book exploring one place where the religiously-affiliated and religiously-disaffiliating regularly meet – Catholic Secondary schools – and something interesting is happening.
Out On Waters: The Religious Lives of Young Catholics Beyond the Church
He currently teaches at Xavier High School and Mercy College in New York City, and works with church and other non-profit groups to develop content and curriculum for young adult audiences.
